Yes, the two trailer hitches we carry that will fit to your 2003 BMW X5 are the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13162 and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver # 75492. I recommend the Draw-Tite hitch it will be easier to install I have a link to the installation of the Draw-Tite hitch. If this is for towing trailers you will need a wire harness like the Curt 4-Pole vehicle wiring harness with mounting bracket # C58345 and a hitch ball mount and ball like the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45534. We also offer bike racks like the Swagman Trailhead 3 Bike Rack # S63365 and cargo carriers like the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18145

I have the Draw-Tite hitch you mentioned here, also on a 2003 X5. I didn't see an obvious solution to mounting the 7-blade wiring connector. I tried a universal band clamp type kit on the center angled beam but it hangs quite low. Is there a better way?

@JamesM Yea that Draw-Tite # 75492 hitch is a super weird configuration. When we have installed wiring along with this hitch in the past, we just run the 4-flat plug to the inside of the vehicle and leave it in the cargo area. No bracket or anything is used, you just run the plug out the rear hatch when you need it. Then store it back in the cargo area when you are done.
