If all you need is running lights, turn, and brake signals, this harness covers the basics with a 4-flat connector. It’s a solid choice for small or utility trailers where you don’t need anything fancy—just a clean, dependable power link from your vehicle to the trailer.
The wiring is built to hold up over time with bonded 16-gauge wires protected by molded rubber insulation. That keeps everything flexible and shielded from road wear and weather. It’s the kind of simple durability that lets you hook up and go without worrying about cracked insulation or loose strands later on.
This harness is made for vehicles that use a 2-wire taillight setup, where the brake and turn signals share the same circuit. You splice it in directly to your existing wiring, making it a straightforward project that gets you towing quickly without extra converters or adapters.
The included mounting bracket gives you a neat, professional look at the back of your vehicle. You can pair it with a no-drill mount if you want to fasten it right to the receiver tube. It keeps the connector easy to reach and out of harm’s way when not in use.

With 60 inches of wire—five full feet—you’ve got enough length to route the harness cleanly from your splice points to your mounting spot. It gives you room to make solid connections and keep everything neatly secured along the way.

Actually, I had to change this out for a 5-4 wire conversion harness. The 1999 Chrysler town & country only has the left& right turn signal, tail lights and brake lights on separate wires within the vehicle. So I had to buy the converter bix harness that combines the right turn signal and brake lights into the green wire for the trailer lights to operate properly. I never returned the original as it was only $12. I simply picked up the converter unit at a uhaul. Don’t use this harness if your vehicle doesn’t have the right blinker and brakes combined ie. They are located on separate wires.
