Question:
I am interested in purchasing a hitch for my 2013 extended cab P/U with the 4.8 V8. It will be used for towing a camper: small one and a small fishing boat, I dont want to have to cut anything. Please advise.

You did not mention if your 2013 Chevy Silverado was a 1500, 2500, or 3500 so I can provide recommendations for all 3.
For a 1500 I recommend Curt trailer hitch # 14301. There is no drilling or trimming required for installation of this hitch. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
For a 2500 or 3500 series short bed I recommend B&W hitch # BWHDRH25601. Again there is no drilling or trimming required. The version for long bed models is # BWHDRH25600 and there is no drilling or trimming required.
For any of these hitches I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416. It comes with a ball mount with a 3 inch rise or 4 inch drop, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
Your truck should have a 7-Way trailer connector but if it does not or you need to replace it then # PK11916 fits right in the factory location! I have linked a video showing how it installs as well.
