Needing to Replace a Broken Axle on a TrailMaster Trailer

Question:
I was told that the axle out spring to out spring is 78 inch inches so what size 3500 lb axle should i purchase for my trailmaster trailer who can i get one from with all the necessary parts

To find the correct axle, we will need some specific measurements. Specifically from the center of one spring seat to the center of the other spring seat, and then from hub face to hub face. For example, the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles - 95" Long - 3,500 lbs # 7359765 will measure 80 inches from center to center on the seats, and 95 inches from face to face on the hubs, pictured below.
Granted, I know this is not really going to be much of an option if your axle has broken. With that being said, you should be able to contact TrailMaster Trailers with your VIN to get the needed information, or possibly even a part number for what was originally installed. Measurements will be better, however, as some axle manufacturers have come and gone, making some part numbers very difficult to identify.
If you can get me the needed measurements or part number that was used, I can see what we can do about finding a good replacement for you.
