Was an easy install once I figured how the accessory thermostat plugged in.
Anyone who will sell an A/C unit that a person can’t even turn on before they’re [made] to pay for a freaking control panel doesn’t deserve a good review. The panel actually RESTRICTS AIRFLOW, so immediately upon screwing it into the base, I had to take my Dremmel tool and cut the air deflectors out so it would blow straight out. $[XX] wasted. What a freaking racket!
Easy to install and works great! Etrailer was great to work with also. I would recommend using both.
Plug and play with the Furrion 18k BTU units. The 18kBTU R32 units are not compatible with a wall thermostat or zoning controller so these are the next best thing by being able to use the thermostat remote control from anywhere in the RV.
Just what I needed
Works and is clean looking
This ADB is a must have if you want to retrofit the new Furrion Chill Cube 18k btu Aircons. These units are super efficient and quiet. Because they were just released, reliability is still an unknown. However, their performance in-person is quite impressive.
Came to day 10 days early, nice. I don't know why the package went from MO, to Chicago, then back to Kansas City then to us but I guess that is the mail service. The parts were packaged nicely and will install unit this week on our 1979 MCi Bus conversion 5C. Thank you William and George

The only problem with this unit is the vent only rotates 90°, so when the unit is centered on the center of your roof it will only cool the middle and the front it would be nice if they made a unit with 120° rotation

Not a trailer‘s fault, but the wiring connect connector. Instructions are confusing, there are two different connectors so a wired, gray to gray, and white to white.
Ordered the new Furrion chill cube 18k and this is required for the install

It has worked flawlessly
Works great, no issues. Cools the space very well, and is quiet compared to other a/c units. Also, the dry mode is great when there's a little sticky moisture in the air (when it rains, or from cooking, etc.). Highly recommend!
I love everything about the Chill Cube and the power consumption. I bought the ducted version and the distribution box (sold separately) was easy to install. However, my only complaint is the the distribution box has a louvre to dump the air directly out and when closed the two pieces of plastic rattle slightly at film fan speed making it loud. I will be building my own air diverter to funnel the air more efficiently into the duct work which will eliminate the ability to dump the air straight out and should eliminate the rattle.
Obviously bought this at the same time with the Furrion Chill Cube 18k AC. This is a nice design in how simple it is without wiring necessary for a thermostast, however, since I was replacing my garbage GE, I still had to account for the furnace. The easies thing was to buy a battery operated "heat only" thermostat and with only two wires for the furnace it was a simple install. One caveat I would have for the remote is that it must be infra-red because you do need to be pointing at the ceiling controls for it to send info to the unit, if you change a setting without it pointing to the unit it won't automatically send that setting when you point it later. You have to make sure the unit beeps to let you know the remote is sending info to the unit. Instructions are not bad, but not great either, and neither is the install video from lippert, so if you're not a diyer this probably isn't the place to start. If you are, this is a very simple install. The LEDs in the picture actually do say "76", but, you know, LEDs and cameras...

Great product. I submitted an installation review. It’s nice to be able to turn the display off at night and use the remote control.
Installed the ducted chill cube 18k air conditioner. Install instruction were easy to follow and took about 1.5 hours to install. The unit replaced a dometic air conditioner and I kept the original dometic control box installed so the furnace would still function.
I just disconnected the 110 volt from the original dometic control box in the ceiling and left the 12 volt side installed to include the temp sensor.
First time buying from trailer. I had purchased the wrong part from Amazon and there's virtually no support in helping make sure I did get the right part from Amazon. I was in a crunch it's 104° out I have no AC and I talked to Alex about the situation and he looked up the parts to make sure I was getting the correct parts and guaranteed I would get it in 2 days. Now I've heard that from Amazon and they promised four days which actually arrived in 7 and it was the wrong part. As a first time buyer from e-trailer I was skeptical but nothing could have been more assuring then Alex and the completed delivery exactly when they said it would be here and the exact part. I did the install took about an hour and extreme heat which normally would have taken less time turn the AC on and with an hour I was from 98° inside the house all the way down to 76°. I strongly recommend purchasing from e-trailer they are now my first go to. They care about customers and their staff is extremely knowledgeable on the things that they sell. I almost forgot to mention the videos in their library are extremely helpful.
The Furion Chill Cube with the plenum kit and wireless remote is awesome - It's very powerful and pumping out major air out of my ducted system - soon I'll be adding the rec pro ducted mod and that will increase its already landslide performance - I'm absolutely blown away but the head to toe performance of the 18000 Furion Chill Cube ac
