We bought this Valterra RV Sewer hose Carrier as an added storage for extra sewer hoses. We had on already installed on our RV when we bought it. The extra on is great. It holds up to 50' of hose. It was very easy to install. all the hardware came with it. We did have to drill some holes in the frame to mount it. It does not hang down any more then the one we had. It's a great product.

It does the job, but the cap on the end is very difficult to close. I have to use zip ties through the eyelets to hold it shut. It needs a better solution for a door at the end of the tube for easy opening and closing.

Super easy to install. The midsection supports won’t work if your RV has no longitudinal beams. Mine does not so I used a horizontal cross member to secure the two metal bands. I predrilled one hole in each band and secured them to the trailer with just one screw. I then slid the tube through the two center bands and attached the two end brackets to the trailer. I then tightened the two center bands to the tube. 30 minute install!

I bought this particular unit because it was expandable, the ends were rotatable, and it would accommodate a 15' hose with fittings. Unit came with 3 additional mounting brackets--2 with hose clamps & 1 glue on type as well as the screws needed for mounting the brackets. My particular installation required 1 end to be mounted on a horizontal surface, the other end to be mounted on a vertical surface and a third bracket to be placed in a horizontal position as determined by the coach manufacturer. So I crawled under the coach determined where I would mount the unit, drilled 5 holes and attached it. Easy Peasy.

Bought 2 of these. One came with a broken hinge. The young lady at Etrailer was very helpful in finding the right part. Etrailer sent it to me at no cost. etrailer gets 5 stars. Unfortunately, the product 4 stars. It works as expected, but the hinges and door latches could have been built more robustly. Not sure they will withstand much wear and tear on the road. I did use a 1x1 inch square metal spacer to clear a propane pipe. Looks great.

This sewer hose storage works great. I didn’t have to use the included center support as my frame rails were only 71 inches apart so the inner and outer tubes had plenty of overlap. The twist lock ends snap closed and seem like they will hold up. I put my 15 ft Rhinoflex hose in it with the clear 90 deg attached and it fit fine.

Just what I wanted. Installed in minutes. Came with plated fasteners, which I plan to replace with stainless, when I get a chance, but I am more ocd than Monk. :) Holds my heavy duty hose with ends attached. Aesthetically pleasing, and quality seems excellent.

The shipping was excellent. The self drilling/self taping screws worked flawlessly and were a breeze to install. I chose to install the holder on the outside bars that my trailer has rather than to the frame.

The holder itself seems well built however the flanges need to be longer. When installing with an electric drill you're unable to go in strait with the self tapping screws. Had the flanges been longer this wouldn't be an issue. Maybe the design can be altered at some point to eliminate this unnecessary issue for future buyers.

I ordered two Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carriers with the intention of using one for sewer hose, and the other for two fishing polls. The quality of these carriers is excellent and I am very pleased with them. They are designed to mount directly to the frame of the trailer, however, I made brackets so they could extend out closer to the side of the trailer for easier access. I highly recommend both these carriers and etrailer, who always come through.

First of all, etrailer's customer service is excellent. The Valterra Hose Carrier was backordered, and etrailer kept me informed all along the way. As for the product, it's a giant piece of plastic with marginal quality, and cheaply constructed end-caps. Will it do the job, yes. Would I recommend spending $xx.xx bucks for this, no. It's just another example of the poor quality that's passed off to customers in the RV industry. Valterra makes some good products, but this isn't one of them.

Package arrived in good condition. I really like the staff at etrailer, shipments crossing boarder can take a little time but the folks at etrailer are very good at providing status and updates when requested. I have ordered a few items from etrailer and service has always exceeded expectations. The actual sewer hose carrier appears to be exactly as described and is good quality. Looking forward to getting it installed and in-service for our trip next week.

I was able to go out to our warehouse and compare the RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose # CAM39761 that you have with the Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier # A04-5094BK that you referenced and found that they are compatible with each other. The hose carrier has an inside diameter of 4-1/2" so neither the 90 degree adapter or the 4-in-1 dump station adapter will fit inside the carrier. Since sewer hoses are typically stored with the caps on them (unless you really clean out the hose) it might be why...

Will The CAMCO RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose Swivel Bayonet Fitting Fit A 4" Holding Pipe
Hey Gary, The Camco RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose Swivel Bayonet Fitting # CAM39783 has little tabs that stick out past the bayonets for an overall diameter of 4-1/4" so it would not fit 4" PVC. You'd need a larger diameter pipe like the Valterra # A04-5094BK, which is 4-1/2", in order to haul your waste hose. The RhinoEXTREME RV Sewer Hoses part # CAM39867 can be stored inside the Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier part # A04-5094BK with all of the bayonet/lug fittings and caps attached but you will need to remove the elbow. The elbow is too large to fit inside the above and the same can be said for the Revolution RV Sewer Hose Kit part # CAM39625 as well. This is the case for most sewer hoses as the carriers and bumpers just won't fit the elbow, this needs to be stored elsewhere.

The Valterra Carrier # A04-3460BK tube can telescope from 34-60 inches to accommodate a variety of hose lengths. Since 10 feet of just the RhinoFLEX Hose # CAM39671 compresses to 32 inches you will need a bigger hose carrier. I recommend going with the Black Valterra Adjustable Hose Carrier # A04-5094BK which is adjustable from 50-94 inches. You can also find this carrier in White # A04-5094.
