Question:

I read your answer to another question about the Ramboxes on Ram trucks, however mine is newer and lighter. On a 2019 Ram 1500 with Ram boxes and short bed, will these brackets work on it. I also have a 5th wheel slider too in case that makes any difference. Thanks and look forward to your answer.

The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit Item # C16307 is a confirmed fit for 2019-2021 Ram 1500 models. You'll also need some rails to attach to the brackets and attach your 5th wheel hitch to so you can use the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit # C16200.

Since you have Ram Boxes it's not recommended to use a sliding hitch because your pin box could come into contact with the Ram Boxes. Instead a rotating pin box is recommended. These are very specific fits so I would need to know the pin box you currently have on your trailer to find the correct fitting rotating pin box. If you could send me some pictures of the pin box and any stickers/tags on the pin box I could identify it for you.
