A heavy trailer or bed load can make the rear end sag, throwing off braking and steering. Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs fit inside your existing rear coil springs to keep your vehicle level and steady under load. With a load-leveling capacity of at least 500 lbs (at most 2,000 lbs), they help maintain even weight distribution and level headlight beams for safer handling. By working with your stock suspension, they reduce strain on the rear axle and prevent bottoming out when hauling or towing.
Every load is different, and these air springs let you dial in support to match. Adjust air pressure manually between 5 psi and 70 psi using individual inflation valves for side-to-side leveling on off-center loads. Add air when towing or carrying heavy gear to firm up the rear suspension, or drop to minimum pressure for a smooth ride when unloaded. The adjustable setup gives better balance, improved control, and less bounce no matter what you’re hauling.

When you hit uneven pavement or rough job sites, the Coil-Rite air springs absorb road shock before it reaches the frame. This added cushion helps your suspension handle bumps and dips while keeping the tires planted. The result is better steering response, more consistent braking, and a comfortable ride even under heavy loading or adverse road conditions.
Firestone designed these Coil-Rite springs from elastic polyurethane that holds up to constant flexing and changes in temperature. The material resists wear, cracking, and leaks so you can trust them for years of use. Each kit includes the springs, hardware, air line, brackets, and valves needed for a no-drill installation that fits right into your existing coil spring seats.
The construction material of the fittings may vary.

Like the product and the promptness in which it arrived.
Little time consuming to install but pretty simple
Sorry, no picture as it is on the pick up truck and working fine.
Great experience have awesome results from equipment I ordered thanks again
Easy install, worked perfect for when I haul heavy weight in the back of my Ram. These do the job without breaking the bank. Would buy again.
The customer service was excellent the product arrived quickly and was exactly as advertised, I would definitely recommend e trailer to anyone and I will use them in the future.
Very good material and quality. But video showed you could just compress bag and squeeze it between truck spring. That was impossible to do. I had to put truck on lift and take springs off to install them. I think they will serve me fine.
Wasn’t real hard to put on. Still took me 2 1/2 hours if I had a lift would have taken a considerable amount of less time. Seem to be working well haven’t towed my travel trailer yet but I’m sure they will help tremendously.
Bags worked well on my Ram 1500. Small town shop depressed springs done in a hour. Cost $300.
Great customer service when I called in and fast delivery. Etrailer seems to be on point as I have ordered a couple items from them the past few months and have been happy with them.
Great for a small trailer/camper.

How big of a trailer are you towing with your Ram and did this kit help?

The kit was okay for one trip. The lines keep coming off then I lose air. I have had to fix the lines four times now I gave up, dont know if there is a real fix to this.My trailer is 18 feet.Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.

does what I needed it to do when I pull to box trailer or the camping trailer.
Good quality, good customer service
Night and day difference. This truck has always rode more like a car, which is great, but it's a little under sprung for any real truck work. These bags made it perfect. 95% of the time I leave the bags completely empty, and when I want to pull my trailer or carry anything in the bed, just put a little air in and it's good to go.
Ended up have to drop the rear axle to get the bags in. After that though, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. From time to time I pull a dump trailer loaded with dirt or stone and my Ram 1500 barely squats and handles it well. We also pull a 32 foot travel trailer like it’s not even there.
I just installed the Firestone air bags on my 2020 Ram 1500. Fortunately I was able to have a hoist to make installing much easier. It only took a little over an hour start to finish. The only thing I feel should be put in the instructions is after taking the Schrader valve out to let the bags fill back up, it should state to not put the Schrader valve back in. I put the valve back in and wasn't able to adjust air pressure. I took the valve out and it works great. Can't wait for camping season now.
My Coil-Rite helper springs are still working well after towing our Airstream more than 20,000 miles. I use them at 25-30 PSI to provide a little extra spring when towing with a load distributing hitch. The helper springs are most noticeable on roads with dips and heaves where the faster spring rate prevents porpoising.
I reduce pressure to about 5-7 PSI when we don't tow for a week or more. I manage the air pressure manually, which is easy with the valves clamped beneath the rear bumper.
Once I figured out I had a bad air line things where a lot better (etrailer took care of me as usual). These work great leveled out my truck and helped my trailer dramatically.

Still going strong and doing its job. I would definitely recommend and buy again.
Great quality, great service, fast shipping. Outstanding in all respects.
Just install my whole kit no problems at all. Everything went rite on very easy. Two hours start to finish. Haven't tried towing yet, if it tows as good as it all fit I'm happy
It performed as expected. I can hookup my boat and maintain my truck at the height that it was prior to hookup therefore keeping the headlights at the correct angle. I would have given it a 5, but it would not install through the coil springs. I had to remove them.

It’s functioning as expected. I’m using it whenever I connect my trailer to the truck. It’s cumbersome to install, but works fine.

Just received the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper kit for my Dodge Ram. Can’t wait to get it instilled on my truck. The entire process of ordering from etrailer was very simple. The salesman “Nick” was very helpful and provided me with the information that I needed to select the product that I needed. Shipment was prompt as well! I will continue to do business with etrailer in the future!

Hi Dean, that is great to hear! Nick is pretty awesome, I will let him know you gave him a shout out! We will be here and ready to help whenever your ready for your next project!
They functioned exactly as advertised. Very strong and durable. So strong are they that they didn’t even burst or puncture in a roll over crash. One of the spring that contained a spring assist bag was knocked out of the truck and it still did not rupture.
In the pictures below you can see the spring in the bed of the truck.
Highly recommend this product.
work great

The Firestone airbags have been working quite well since they were installed, and have performed as expected. You just have to get used to monitoring the air pressure once or twice a week as there are minor air leaks that you have to contend with.
