Question:

Wondering if maybe I bought the wrong size adapters for my d rings and need the 3/4 instead of the 1”? They have a lot of side to side play as there is a gap in them. I attached a pic…anyway to send a video so you can see the way this thing wiggles around?

No, having play in the your Roadmaster D-Ring Mount Adapters # RM-035-1 can cause friction which will lead to them failing. You'll want to measure the thickness of the your D-Ring mount and order accordingly. based on the picture you provided it looks like it's 3/4" which would mean you need the Roadmaster D-Ring Mount Adapter # RM-035. You'll want to measure the thickness of your mounts to be sure though.
