Question:
I am looking for a replacement trailer brake actuator for my 2017 trailstar trailer that I use on my z20 Nitro bass boat. It has a 2inch hitch. Would you happen to know which of yours would be compatible or would I simply need to match up dimensions?

It sounds like you're looking for a brake actuator that fits a 2" ball for your 2017 Trailstar. The dimensions don't have to match up, although it is nice if they do. The important thing is to know the capacity you need and whether this is for disc or drum brakes. You also have the option of an electric lockout, manual lockout, or no lockout. If you have a 5-way on your trailer I'm sure you have an electric lockout. If you have a 4-way you probably have free backing brakes without a lockout on the actuator.
For example, if you have free backing drum brakes and your GVWR is under 7k you could use the # DM72VR. The same trailer with disc brakes and an electric lockout could use the # DM62VR.
I have attached a link to all of our surge brake actuators below. You can filter by capacity, lockout style, and drum or disc once you have that information.
