Is There A Trailer Hitch For 2007 Honda Element SC?

Question:

Where did you guys end up landing with tow hitch possibilities for the 2007 Honda Element SC specifically? I just bought one. Exploring options.

Hello Ron, thanks for reaching out. We do offer one hitch for the 2007 Honda Element SC. For that you will need the following:

- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75659

This has a 2" receiver, 350 lb tongue weight rating and 3,500 lb towing capacity. It will be a no drill install, but you will likely need to do some trimming of the bumper.

Take a look at the video I linked. It shows an example of installation.

What do you plan to use the hitch for?

Thanks Jesse. Any way to do it without cutting into the bumper? I'm looking to use it to tow a motorcycle (Yamaha R7) to the track potentially. Small single bike trailer situation most likely.

@Ron It has to do with the bumper plastic right above the receiver. You may be able to bend it out of the way and be fine but we have heard that some find it easier to cut out a small section. You may not have to though.
