Question:
Replacing lp7000 not sure if this will fit on top of my current trailer . I think it will fit inside but first hole is a circle meaning it will not allow for surge and there is no second hole that would have to be made

We have the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout # DX29FR for disc brakes and the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator # DX27FR for drum brakes that will be a better option. These will have similar bolt patterns as your Tie Down Engineering LP7000 actuator. These are designed to fit a 3" wide by 4" tall trailer tongue. If you have a different size trailer tongue please let me know so I can recommend a better option.
The Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout # DX89FR that you found is for disc brakes. It can be mounted on top of a 3" trailer tongue. You will need to drill for the additional holes to secure it in place and as it does sit on top of the frame you will likely need to change your ball mount to level the trailer.
