Does Curt Trailer Hitch 14055 Or Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 41906 For 2007 Ford E-350 Stick Out Further
Updated 07/14/2021 | Published 07/04/2021 >
Question:
I have a 2007 Ford econoline e-350 cutaway with a service bed. This doesn’t appear to be a problem for mounting but the rear bumper is covering the entire receiver. The bulletproof adjustable hitches should allow enough space as I have found the spec sheet for them, and they stick out 5” past the retaining pin before a bumper would be a problem. Either this hitch or the draw tite 41906 would be acceptable for this application. Can you tell me which of these two hitches has the greatest distance from the rear most frame mounting holes to the ball mount retaining pin opening please? I need whichever hitch sticks out furthest from the rear of the vehicle past the frame basically. Thank you.

I would be happy to help!
The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41906 you were looking at measures 18-1/2" from the center of the rear mounting holes to the center of the hitch pin hole where the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14055 measures 16-3/4" as you can see in the included diagrams.
Since you were needing the max distance for your 2007 Ford E-350 with the Service Bed you will want to go with the # 41906.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
