Question:
Hey Im looking for a hitch for my 2004 E350 Turtletop Vanterra. It seems that my frame is slightly wider than a standard E350 but Im looking for a hitch with more than 5000lbs of capacity so I dont want a universal RV hitch if I can help it. I saw a comment on a different hitch that the curt C13902 has a bolt mounting width of 39 1/2, center to center. I was wondering if that measurement could be confirmed because that is my exact width center to center on my frame. I also cant seem to find that hitch on your website but I see it elsewhere so I was wondering if Im just missing it or if you dont stock it anymore. Thanks for the help!

Hey Derek!
That part number isn't available on our site anymore, but it doesn't look like it was a fit for your 2004 E350 van anyways. I verified some bolt hole to bolt hole measurements on a couple hitches that are a fit for your vehicle:
Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2" # 14055 has 2 holes on each side at the front by the receiver that are 38-1/4" from each other, while back two are 38" from each other.
Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2" # 14053 has one hole on each side at the front by the receiver that are 38-1/4" from each other, while back four are 38-3/4" from each other.
I don't see any other receivers custom-fit for your vehicle. If your frame holes center to center don't match these, you'll instead need a universal weld-on hitch. If that's the case, let me know if you need help and I can find one for you.
Also, both of these hitches are rated for way more than you need, 10,000lbs towing and 1,000lbs tongue weight.

I need 39.5 center to center. My frame is wider than a stock e350.
