Question:
What is the width from center of mounting hole on one fram rail to center of mounting hole on opposite fram rail? I have an extended 1995 E350 suoer Duty. Its a transit bus and the width outside to outside of fram rail is a little over 42inch I will need to drill holes as it is just flat channel.

Hey Jake, thanks for the measurement. The Curt Hitch item # 14053 fits the 1995 Ford E-350's that have bolt holes spaced 38-5/8" from the center to center of your frame. I checked with our vendors and there's no custom fit hitches for your transit bus. In order to add a hitch to it, you will need a universal weld-on hitch.
There are three different options, with each of them being Class V hitches with a 2" receiver. They fit frames that are between 18" and 44" wide, so they will fit your 1995 E-350's 42" wide frame. The difference between them is the amount of drop they give from the frame, so you'll want to measure the amount of drop you need to clear the bottom of your rear bumper. I have listed them below:
3" Drop: Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch and Brackets item # 15901
9" Drop: Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch and Brackets item # C47CR
18" Drop: Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch and Brackets item # C99CR
How far below your frame is the bottom edge of your bumper?

Hey Jake, were you able to measure how far the bottom of your bumper sits below the frame on your E-350? Knowing that drop would help confirm which of the universal weld-on hitches fits best. Your update could make it easier for others working on similar transit bus setups.
