What is the Height From Ground to the Top of Drawbar on 2018 VW Golf GTI?

Question:

Could you please help with the measurements for receiver height? Im trying to mount it to a 4x8foot UHaul cargo trailer, and Im wondering how much of a rise/ I would require, and what ball/mount would I need for it. Would Item #118787 also work for the harness? Im also wondering, would the older hidden EcoHitch for 2015-2017 GTI #306-X7309 work for the 2018 GTI? Thanks

The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24979 will have a height of approximately 13" to the inside top of the receiver tube on your 2018 VW Golf GTI. The center of the bolt hole will sit approximately 4" from the outermost point of the rear bumper.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness 118787 is only confirmed to fit the Golf R Models. For your GTI you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56405 for a 4-way flat connector.

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7309 will not fit your GTI. You would need to use either the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7375 or # 306-X7376 for your GTI.
