The EcoHitch Stealth trailer hitch is designed to be completely out of sight when you're not towing. The hitch's cross tube bolts onto your vehicle's frame, behind your rear bumper. No drilling or welding is required. Once installed, the cross tube will be completely concealed and only the receiver will be visible beneath your bumper. But unlike other hitches with hidden cross tubes, the Stealth goes one further. You can remove the receiver portion of the hitch for a completely out-of-sight setup. To mount the receiver, just insert it up into the access port that is built into the cross tube. Secure the receiver to the hitch with the supplied bolt and washers. When you're done towing, just remove the receiver portion to return your vehicle to its clean, factory appearance.

This is the best stealth hitch for your Mk7.5. The hitch is completely invisible when the receiver is removed. However, I leave the receiver on all the time with a plastic cap over the end and the design is so tight and neat it actually looks cool. Yes installation is a two person job where removing and reinstalling body trim takes more time than actually installing the hitch itself, but the result is so integrated it's well worth the bother. Before I started I made sure I had ordered all the Torx drivers I needed and watched installation videos and it all went fine.
Perfect fitment, easy to follow installation instructions. Look forward to using the hitch with my new bike rack.
Packaging was just silly. It was put into a large carboard box, twice as big as it needed to be, patched and taped on the end, with a large hole. There were some small pieces of foam wrapped around the thick main tube, but nothing to protect the ends where damage it much more likely. It wasn't damaged, but there are several places where the paint was missing or chipped off. Then finally I had to use an impact wrench to remove the main bolt, and found that the nut that it screws into is not exactly in alignment with the through-holes on the adapter. I really hope I don't drop any of the bolts and washers while installing it, because there are no extras. Obviously I am not impressed with this for an almost $xxx hitch. I should have gotten the Drawtite instead.

I see that your hitch has received some scratches on it due to shipping. This does tend to happen and when it does, we recommend using a Rust-oleum type paint to cover up any scratches and prevent corrosion in the future during use. I have a link below for your reference.
