hi. with the e98906, can i attach and tow a 4x8 U-Haul trailer?

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98906 which is a fit for a 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan has a 3,500 lb towing capacity. That said, the rating is for the hitch only and the vehicle may be rated lower. If so, you'll have to abide by the lower of the two ratings. If the loaded weight of the trailer does not exceed the weight capacity of the trailer hitch or vehicle (whichever is lower) then you'll be good to go. Please note, you may also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118675.
