A hitch like this opens up what you can do day to day. With a 3,500-lb maximum gross trailer weight and a 350-lb tongue weight, it’s ready for towing small trailers, hauling gear, or adding a bike rack or cargo carrier. The 2" x 2" receiver fits the most common accessories without needing adapters, so whether you’re setting up for a trip or just tackling a weekend project, you’ve got the strength and flexibility built right in.
You don’t need a lift or special tools to get this hitch mounted. It bolts directly to the vehicle’s frame with no welding required, and the complete hardware kit and installation instructions come in the box. With its custom-fit design and precision, robotic welding that ensures proper alignment, it lines up cleanly for a straightforward install that fits like it should.
The fully welded steel construction gives this hitch its strength and solid feel. A gloss black powder coat over a protective base coat keeps rust at bay and helps it hold up to weather, road salt, and years of use. The round-tube design also gives it a cleaner look under the bumper while keeping the receiver easy to reach.
This hitch is made for everyday use without extra steps or cutting. Ball mount, pin, and clip are sold separately so you can set it up exactly how you want. And because it’s not rated for weight-distribution systems, you always know what limits apply—3,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 350 lbs maximum tongue weight—so your towing setup stays within spec every time.

Dive out was a year ago, i will go by best recollection. As I recall, the nut was too large to fit through the hole to enter the frame. If it got stuck in the pass through phase, i probably would have lost it within the frame. Regarding the alignment... It was tough. I really had to wrestle the unit into place and hammer the bolts through because of the lack of play. What i will probably wind up doing is trying to grind down the nuts to fit, and out that doesnt work have a mechanic weld the hitch to the frame at those points. Welding of course will cost me money, and compromise the finish on the frame so i am not happy with that option.

I would not recommend welding the hitch as it would void the warranty on the hitch and would not be safe. I recommend using a die grinder or Dremel type tool to enlarge the opening to fit the nut through into the frame.

You mentioned that the washer did not fit through the hole in the frame and that the bolts were misaligned. I wanted to ask a few follow up questions. Was the washer too big to enter the frame or too big to move within the frame? When you say that the bolts were misaligned can you tell me in more detail what you mean?
