Troubleshooting Lippert Smart Jack Working Intermittently

Question:
My smart jack would not work I unplugged the fuse and plugged it back in an it turned two times and it quit magazine until I repeat procedure help what is wrong Help please

It sounds like you may have an issue with either the wiring or with the internal circuitry inside the Lippert Smart Jack # LC643589 itself.
Check your 12v positive connections both on the battery terminal and inside the fuse holder for corrosion or damaged wiring. Also inspect the 30 amp fuse for any signs of damage. It may be worth getting a new fuse to check this as well. Lastly you might check the ground connections on the battery and the frame for corrosion or loose connections as well.
The Smart Jack will ground itself through the bolts on the trailer frame. Be sure there is good contact at these points and you could also run a jumper wire from the bolts directly to the battery negative to test if that is the issue.
If all of the wiring is good the internal wiring or electrical components may need to be inspected or replaced by Lippert. The Smart Jack does have a 1-year warranty if you wish to see about having it repaired by Lippert.
