Does Your etrailer Jack Automatically Stop when it is Extended so it Doesn't Over Extend?

Updated 03/24/2025 | Published 02/12/2025

Question:

Does the e55zv have a stop so it cant be over raised or extended and damage the drive gear? Had a bulldog model previous to this and gear stripped out almost immediately....

Hello Jeremy,

Yes, our etrailer jack # e55ZV will automatically stop and not over raise. If you check out the video that I attached you will see that Steven still has his finger pushing down the button after the jack stops.

What kind of application are you putting this on?

@Jeremy This jack would be great for your application. Another thing that is worth mentioning is that our jack comes with a limited lifetime warranty! Please make sure to let us know how you like it once you get things set up.

Your reply to Jeremy indicates that the #e55zv does not overcrank. My current Jack accidentally hit the undercrank stop and sheared the pins inside. I want to make sure I am protected against this happening if I buy this jack. Thanks Stan W.

@StanW Hey there Stan! Yes, with the # e55zv you will not have that issue with our etrailer jack. We made sure with the design that it will have the auto stop so it does not have that issue. I am sorry your current jack did not have that feature. What kind of application were you looking to use it on?
