Is the installation process exactly the same for a 2021 Ford Ranger XL with factory tow package as it is for the 2019 you show in the video? Thanks

Assuming your 2021 Ford Ranger is equipped with the factory 7-way trailer connector, the install of a # RED44FR Redarc Tow-Pro Elite would be identical to what's shown in the linked video.
May I make a suggestion though? Unless you really need the user-control mode offered by the Tow-Pro Elite which would usually be used in low-speed off-road situations, there's no reason not to save a few dollars and go with the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty, part # RED24FR which would work the same as the Tow-Pro Elite but minus the user controlled mode. If you decide to go this route, you'll also need the # RED69FR wiring pigtail.
If your Ranger doesn't have a factory trailer connector, it should still have the 4 bare-ended wires shown in the video under the dash, but you'll need to install a # 22124 7-way trailer connector at the rear of the vehicle and run the wiring up to the front.
