Question:
I have a Karavan boat trailer for a bayliner 205 and I am trying to replace the hub/brakes i would like to use disk brakes d/t huge amounts of rust and corrosion. The GVWR for the trailer is 4300 lbs and the max load rating is 3400 lbs photo attached. The single axle does not have a placard specifying its weight capacity unfortunately. The spindle bearings have an outer of LM67048 and inner of 25580. The axle flange has a five bolt pattern. I was recommended item K2R526DKG. Will this work for this application? Additionally, I assume I need to buy these bearings separately? Ive attached additional photos for your reference. Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

Since your spindle uses inner bearing # 25580 and outer bearing # LM67048 the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub for 5,200-lb Axles - 6 on 5-1/2" # 008-213-9B is going to be the correct replacement and includes new bearings, races, grease seal, and lug nuts.
Now the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 12" Rotor - 6 on 5-1/2 - Dacromet and KodaGuard - 5,200 to 6,000 lbs # K2R526DKG you mentioned will go over the idler hub and the included bracket will mount the caliper to the 5 bolt flange on your axle.
Now the only other component needed is you will need to replace the surge brake actuator on your trailer with one rated for disc brakes, as the drum brake actuators will not have enough pressure to use disc brakes.
A great option is the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout - Disc - Zinc - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs # DM8605101 which has a maximum trailer weighting of 7000lbs which is plenty for your 4300lb trailer, and fits standard 3" wide trailer tongues.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
