Question:
Why does my 7 pin connector plug fall out while driving? There is enough slack in the line. It is new as of February when we bought the new RV. I lose trailer brakes when that happens.

This can be caused by a few things, but as you have enough slack in the wire, it is most likely just one of two things.
The door flap, for the lack of a better way to put it, on the 7 Way plug on the towing vehicle snaps down on a tab on the 7 Way plug coming from the trailer. These can break off which causes them to come uncoupled. If this is the case, the 7 Way trailer end will need to be replaced with something like the Optronics # A7WCB. But it could also just not be seated all the way.
When plugging in the trailer to the vehicle, you will want to let that door flap on the 7 Way come down on the 7 Way from the trailer. Not pulling so hard as to break it, give it a little tug. It should hold fast and not just pop out. If you look at the Curt # C58155, it has a tab in the center of the door flap. This is what needs to be seated on the trailer's 7 Way plug. If this is missing and or broken off, you will need to replace 7 Way on the vehicle.
