Question:
Hi, I have a 2011 Nissan Frontier without any factory-installed tow package as far as I can tell. Will this 118266 adapter work for that, and in addition to the hitch, what else do I need? A pin? a mounting bracket for the 7-pin adapter? Any advice appreciated, thanks.

The Tekonsha # 118266 will definitely fit a 2011 Nissan Frontier without issue. It includes all parts to get the 7 Way up and running. You will, however, need a few parts to get it attached to the hitch.
The No Drill bracket # 18136 attaches to the cross bar of the hitch via a hose clamp, making it easy to get installed. The 7 Way bracket # PK12711U will then bolt to the # 18136. The 7 Way plug from the # 118266 will then bolt right onto the # PK12711U.
The etrailer.com Class III Hitch # e98869 will be a great option for trailer hitch as well. This is rated up to 5,000 pounds towing with a tongue weight rated up to 500 pounds. This increases to 8,000 pounds and 800 pounds when using a weight distribution system. This is also a bolt on application, making the install very straight forward.
The only other parts you will need will be a ball mount, like the Curt # C45030, a ball like the Curt # 40038, and a pin and clip like the Curt # C21500 to hold everything in place. However, it should be noted that the ball mount will depend on how much rise or drop will be needed. The ball size will also depend on the size of the coupler on the trailer.
