How To Wire Up the Optronics LED Trailer License Plate Light

Question:
Hi I have enduralight ADR48/00 Application ADR13/00 Plu 578357. What do the red and black wires connect too? I have brown and white on the trailer. So does red connect to brown?

In regards to the Optronics LED Trailer License Plate Light part # LPL55CB, the black wire is for power and the white wire is a ground. The black wire will be hooked up to the running light circuit which is usually a brown wire. If you have a ground circuit nearby you could tap into this or just use a screw and ground it straight to metal.
