Question:

I purchased a 2020 Ford Ranger XL which did not have any hitch or towing package. We are looking to get a travel trailer RV. According to the specs this truck can handle up to 7500 lbs What do I need to purchase to make this happen. was looking at part # e63ZR, c56431, and HM48625 and what else? thanks

For your 2020 Ford Ranger the Detrailer hitch part # e63ZR is a really great option with more than enough towing capacity and is mostly hidden as well. The 7-way kit part # C56431 is also the correct kit to add 7-way to your truck and then the # HM48625 is the correct kit to secure it.

If the trailer you planned to tow has brakes you would need a brake controller to activate them too like with the Curt Echo Mobile # C51180 which basically just plugs into an active 7-way and once synced to a smart phone is ready to tow with.
