Question:

My 2021 Ranger has no tow package. I ordered a Draw Tite hitch from you guys which will arrive Tuesday. Like all new Rangers it has a stock 4 flat plug. I would like to install the Curt T-connector 7 blade RV item# C56431 which you show as Fits 2021 Ford Ranger. I would also like to install the 7/4 plug item# HM40975 on the vehicle cutout location but you show this part as NOT CONFIRMED TO FIT 2021 Ford Ranger. I have also looked at Ford online parts for the 7/4 plug, part# FU5Z-14489-A. They also show their part as does not fit 2021 Ford Rangerinch but it does fit the 2020 Ford Ranger. My assumption is that the Curt T connector would work with your 7/4 way plug. If that is the case I would go ahead and purchase both items and do the installation. Of course checking all the measurements prior to cutting a hole in the vehicle plastic. And as a last resort attach the plug and bracket on the tow hitch. My gut is telling me Ford hasnt updated their database for 2021 and your company hasnt had anybody try to put the receiver plug into the vehicle cutout to confirm it fits or not. I would appreciate any clarification you might be able to provide. Many thanks!

From all the info I could find, the 2020 Ranger and the 2021 Ranger both use the same stock bumper. With that being said, the 7 Way plug that is included with the Curt # C56431 can definitely be replaced with the 7 Way plug from the # HM40975.
