Im confused as to wether or not you have to trim the bumper to complete the installation

There is some trimming of the fascia required when installing on your 2020 Honda Odyssey when you are installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C64NR.

The only trimming required is a 1.75" x4" section of the bottom appearance panel, which is separate from the actual bumper; trimming this section is needed for access to the frame and won't affect your Odyssey at all.

I also wanted to mention, if you do plan on towing with your 2020 Odyssey and need a trailer wiring harness, the correct part is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118753.
