Question:
I am planning to install this hitch on my 2020 Honda Pilot. Can I do it myself without having to lift the car? What tools would I need?

With an install difficulty rated 3 out of 10, the Curt # C13146 is definitely a hitch anyone can install on their own. The Honda Pilot being a somewhat taller vehicle does offer easier access to the underside where this will be installed. This uses pretty standard tools, including a ratchet, a 6 inch socket extension, a 22 millimeter socket, and a torque wrench to make sure you are getting to the specified torque ratings in the instructions. A second pair of hands will definitely help get the bolts started, but if there isn't anyone around, I have found a floor jack holding one side of the hitch will work just as good. I included a video we have of the # C13146 being installed on a 2020 Pilot as well. Though we are using a lift, it does show just how easy this hitch is to install.
