This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver (part #C13146) gives you solid Class III capability for everyday towing and hauling. With a 6,000 lb maximum gross trailer weight, 8,000 lb when used with weight distribution, and a 900 lb tongue weight rating, it’s built to handle small campers, boats, utility trailers, and heavy bike racks with ease. The 2" x 2" receiver opening works with most standard towing accessories and hitch-mounted gear, so you can hook up your favorite cargo carriers or racks without adapters.
Once installed, only the receiver itself is visible; the cross tube stays tucked out of sight behind the bumper. That hidden design keeps the back of your vehicle looking neat and tidy while improving ground clearance for steep driveways or rougher roads. You get a strong hitch that doesn’t distract from the vehicle’s lines.
The fully welded hitch bolts directly to the frame using factory holes—no welding or cutting required. It comes complete with all mounting hardware and detailed installation instructions. Most folks can install it in the driveway with basic hand tools like a ratchet, socket extension, and torque wrench. So after a year this hitch has been awesome. Ive towed my pop up camper and my 1970 VW beetle to shows and the shop. I recommend this hitch to any Honda Pilot owner
