Question:
I am wanting to confirm I have a new 2020 Kia Sorento SX model which hitch is recommended and wire harness for my vehicle? Your model Item # DT66MR states it excludes S and SX models? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Class II Draw-Tite # DT66MR is compatible with all models of the 2020 Kia Sorento, including your SX model.
I'd recommend going with a Class III hitch which uses the more common 2 inch receiver size which has a higher capacity and is also compatible with many more hitch mounted accessories. Typically, there's isn't much of a price differential between a Class II and III hitch, so there's really no reason not to go with the more common size.
I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13195 which is also compatible with all models of the 2020 Kia Sorento. In my opinion, Curt does a slightly nicer job on their finishing process using a higher gloss powder coat, so that's what I typically recommend.
To complete your towing system, you'll also need a wiring harness like # C56332, a ball mount like # D-28, a hitch pin like # PC3 and a trailer ball like # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
I've linked to install videos for the hitch and the trailer wiring harness.
