Will Roadmaster Base Plate Kit Interfere With Adaptive Ride Control System On 2020 GMC Sierra Denali

I own a 2020 Sierra 1500 4WD crew cab Denali 3L diesel with an adaptive ride control system. What Roadmaster Active Suspension kit will fit my truck and not interfere with the adaptive ride control system? Thanks for your help!

I reached out to my contact at Roadmaster and he confirmed that the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523198-5 and Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-523198-4 will NOT interfere with the adaptive ride control system on your 2020 Sierra 1500 Denali 4WD Crew Cab with the 3L diesel.
With that being said, I recommend the Direct-Connect # RM-523198-5 as it offers the same rigidity as the Crossbar-style, but will be one less thing to deal with when installing your tow bar. I included a few pictures of this base plate kit installed on a customers 2019 Sierra Denali for you to take a look at.
For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-422 which has a 10000lb weight capacity, and a non-binding design that allows you to disconnect your vehicle even on un-even terrain. Since this tow bar does not include safety cables, I recommend the Roadmaster 64" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables # RM-645.
To complete your flat tow setup you will still need wiring, and a supplemental braking system of which I recommend the following:
Wiring -Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152-98146-7
Supplemental Braking System - Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR with 12v Outlet Kit # RM-9332
You will also more than likely need a high-low adapter to level the tow bar to your towed vehicle, so I included a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct adapter, and a link to all of our high-low adapters for you to take a look at.
Lastly it is always a good idea to check the recreational towing section of your vehicles owner's manual for any special steps to make your vehicle ready to be flat towed, and for any flat tow restrictions.
