Proper Safety Cables to Use with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate

Question:
I have the 64” cables with the ball on one end and safety hook on the other end! I purchased a road master 523200-5 base plate to fit my 2020 Chevrolet Traverse! I have it installed on my car! How can I use these cables with this base plate or can’t I? Thanking you in advance!

I spoke with Roadmaster to help with this, and we have a solution.
The EZ Hook Safety Cables, part # RM-655, are not compatible with the Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit for the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse, part # RM-523200-5.
The Base Plate you have does not have a spot for the anchors of the cables to mount to. Instead, use the Single Hook Cables, part # RM-645. I've linked to a video installation of these cables so you can see how they work.
