WILL THE ECOHITCH 306-X7375 FIT A STANDARD GOLF AS WELL. IM AT A VW DEALER WITH A CUSTOMER INTERESTED IN THE PART YET, I CANT VERIFY 100 IF IT WILL FIT OR NOT. HE DOES NOT HAVE A GTI TRIM OR AN R. I DONT SEE A REASON WHY IT WOULDNT BUT HOPE YOU COULD SHED SOME LIGHT ON IT.
