Question:
Had a curt installed on my 2020 1500. The stock eyelets under the bumper blocked the hitch pin from being ed. Line-x installer here in town suggested sawing them off. Im not a fan of sawing on a new truck...Your video on the 2019 shows the stock eyelets intact and the pin unimpeded. Would the drawtite be my better choice to offset there receiver pin hole to clear the stock eyelets?

Expert Reply:
The Draw Tite hitch part # DT42RR that fits your 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 requires you to bend the safety chain loops out for hitch pin clearance which is what you are running into with the Curt # C13393 as well. Easiest way to do this is grab a larger crescent wrench and adjust it down to fit snugly to the loop and then bend it outwards like what you see in the attached picture.
