Trailer Hitch and 4 Bike Rack Recommendation for 2016 Mini Countryman

Question:

Ive got a 2016 Countryman Sport All4 and hoping to pick up a 4-bike bike rack. Ive seen a lot of the hitches for the countryman require an extra support strap. Is this the case with this hitch as well? The support strap requirement is a bit of a deal breaker for my setup.

To carry a 4 bike rack with your 2016 Mini Countryman and not have to use a stabilizer strap the hitch to use is the EcoHitch part # 306-X7334 since it has a 2 inch opening and does not have the strap requirement.

Then for a 4 bike rack the Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR is a really great option that would fit well and do a great job carrying your 4 bikes.
