Comparing the Ground Clearance Between Draw-Tite and etrailer Hitch for a 2015 Toyota Sienna

Question:

Hi, Ive read at least 2 comments here and on siennachat that someone on your staff told them that your hitch e98853 provides about 1inch more clearance than the very similar #76112. In other posts, your staff indicates they have the same clearance. Which is true? I know 1inch is not a lot of difference, but given how little clearance my 2015 Sienna has to start with, every bit helps, so an accurate answer would be appreciated! Thx

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76112 and etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98853 are both great options for a 2015 Toyota Sienna. The Draw-Tite hitch measures around 12" from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube opening. The etrailer hitch measures around 12" from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube opening. Therefore, they will be about the same. That said, these measurements can vary by vehicle as things such as tire size, cargo, etc. can all affect this. This is why you are getting two different answers.
