hi. I need to replace the antisway cradle on my ridgback 2. how do I swap it out for yours replacement AND can I put the new part on the opposite side.. another word right bar instead of left bar?

You've actually found the correct part. The Replacement SuperCush Anti-Sway Cradle and ZipStrips for Yakima Hanging-Style Bike Racks # 8880598 is the correct part to replace the anti-sway cradle on the Yakima Ridgeback models manufactured after 2016 ( # Y02458). This can be installed on either side of the rack and are not side specific- they're a universal replacement, and it should just slide right on to the bar in place of the old one without any issues.
