Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this Yakima replacement SuperCush Anti-Sway cradle with zip strips. This is going to replace one SuperCush Anti-Sway cradle and two zip strips straps on your Yakima hanging style bike rack. This is going to fit the Yakima bike carriers that utilize SuperCush Anti-Sway cradles and zip strips. And on your screen, I am including the models of the Yakima bike carriers that this is going to fit, along with our item numbers for your reference. So, as you can see, this is going to fit the Fullback, the Halfback, the Literider, the Sparerider, the Ridgeback manufactured after 2016 and the SwingDaddy manufactured after 2016. So, this includes everything that you see here on the table before me.
It includes one SuperCush Anti-Sway cradle, two of these zip strip straps, and then, this screw and this is directly from Yakima, so you're not gonna have to worry about any compatibility issues or anything like that. This is going to be exactly like the cradle that you are needing to replace. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy.

I couldn't find a replaced for the broken cradle (# 8890305) on my Ridgeback bike rack - not from Yakima or any of the dealers on other sites So I found an alternate from etrailer, where I purchased the rack originally (back in 2015). The replacement anti-sway cradle # 8880598 fitted perfectly to my Yakima rack. In fact I think it is a much better product than the original, especially the cushioning & padded straps.
We replaced the old anti-sway cradles on our Ridgeback rack with these. They seem much better and more durable. We shall see how they hold up in the long run.

Still working well after a year. The cushion is holding up better than the original.
My usage was as a replacement for an anti-sway cradle that came on a Yakima Ridgeback. The new cradle was easy to install and works well. Note, however, that the ZipStrips are not interchangeable with the originals. The slots on the new model are wider and thinner than on the originals, making it somewhat of an inconvenience to make sure that you use the correct ZipStrips with each cradle.

Still works well. Just what I needed to get the 4th position on my rack working again.
This is beefier than the original that came with my Yakima 2-bike rack, but fits fine. I replaced two that had broken from going through a sharp (unseen) dip too fast.
Just finished installing the new part on my bike rack. The part came quickly, as ordered and was easy to install. Customer service was very helpful when I called with questions to confirm which part I needed.
I sold bike rack & upgraded to a Kuat for my new EBikes!
Cradles assemble easily and fit well with my thule rack as a retrofit conversion.
perfect fit and looks like it will last quite a while as well.

Product shipped sooner than expected and works as shown/advertised. Yakima improved the design so much beefier than the original stabilizer.
OEM for me. I think I paid a premium to etrailer.. but showed up fast and I needed it.

Good but not excellent as all it’s plastic and after expos-to outside weather will break.
