Question:
I am looking to replace the surge brakes on a 1999 Shorelandr boat trailer - model R1828W - Vin # 1MDD65R10XA061297 - Would the Hydraulic Trailer Brake - Uni-Servo - 10inch - Left Hand/Right Hand - 3,500 lbs work on this type of trailer? I am also looking to replace the master cylinder on a Atwood Actuator #84132 - would you have anything compatible for that? Thanks much for your assistance.

The surge brakes on your 1999 Shorelandr boat trailer can be replaced with the Hydraulic Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Free Backing - Dacromet - 10" - Left/Right Hand - 3,500 lbs # AKFBBRK-35-D. The Atwood surge coupler is no longer available and neither are the replacement parts. My recommendation is to replace your entire coupler with the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator - Drum Brakes - Zinc Plated - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs # DM72VR.
