Installing the Fastway E2 Trunnion Weight Distribution System with Jeep Quadra Lift Suspension

Question:
We recently bought a 2020 Grand Cherokee equipped with the Quadra Lift air suspension. I originally set up the Fastway E2 with my 17 Tacoma towing an RPOD 180 and it performed flawlessly. Im aware that the Quadra Lift is a self leveling suspension, and lowers itself 0.6inch above 55 MPH. Can you give me any recommendations on how to prepare the GC for initial measurements? Also, would the lowering of the suspension above 55 MPH have an adverse effect on the sway control? Can this be compensated for in the initial measurements? Thanks in advance!

To set up a weight distribution system with your Jeep you will want to first disable the quadra lift system and setup the weight distribution system without it. To do this you will use the spare tire changing setting. To assist with changing a spare tire, the Quadra-Lift air suspension system has a feature which allows the automatic leveling to be disabled. Press and hold both the "Up" and "Down" buttons simultaneously between 5 and 10 seconds, a message will appear in the EVIC stating leveling has been disabled immediately after both buttons have been released. Refer to "Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)" in "Understanding Your Instrument Panel" for further information. Driving the vehicle over 5 mph will return the air suspension to normal operation.
The attached help article shows how to setup a WD system. Jeep has confirmed weight distribution systems are not an issue with Quadra Lift and are recommended for loads as large as your R-Pod.

I just finished the installation on my '20 Grand Cherokee with the tips you provided. I have the E2 Trunnion Weight Distribution System set up so that it brought the front of the Jeep back to its unladen height. During my test-drive, the trunnion bars were VERY loud when turning. The trailer tows well and is stable so should I be concerned by the amount of sound? Is it normal? Thanks!
