Will # FA92-00-0450 Work For 2023 Ford Maverick Towing Modern Buggy Hopper 1?

Hi, Im towing with 2023 ford maverick ecoboost and need a rise of 6. My camper is a Modern Buggy Hopper 1 witha 2695lb dry weight. It has high ground clearance also. Looking to reduce wind drag or sway rather. I see it described as max rise of 6inch but an illustration photo says 5. Will the e2 work for me? Thanks!

Hi Jesse,
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 4,500 lbs GTW, 450 lbs TW # FA92-00-0450 will be a great option for your setup! The 5" rise shown in the photo is specifically for the system's head, but the overall height once the ball is installed would be 6" above the center of your receiver.
With that, you'll need a ball with a 1" diameter shank to go with this. The ball will be based on the coupler size on your Modern Buggy Hopper 1. If you need a 2-5/16" ball, I recommend 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/4" Long Shank - Chrome - 10,000 lbs # C40007. If you need a 2" ball, I recommend 2" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/4" Long Shank - Chrome - 12,000 lbs # 40038.
That Modern Buggy Hopper 1 is a pretty cool camper! I like how compact and lightweight it is. Where do you plan on taking that camper?
