Question:
Im looking at putting this on a 2011 Highlander to use with my Kuat NV 2.0 hitch rack. The NV 2.0 has an anti-rattle ball behind the hitch pin. Is this receiver deep enough for the anti-rattle ball to still function properly? The pictures look like theres very little receiver tube behind the hitch pin.

Expert Reply:
In order to utilize the anti-rattle feature on the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack part # NV22G you'd indeed need to use a trailer hitch with longer receiver tube like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13534. The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7137 would still work but you would not be able to utilize the anti-rattle feature of the rack.
