I have an older version of the swing daddy, where the top part does not fold down. I need an anti-sway tongue , and wanted to be sure this one would fit my older model.

There is only one version of the SwingDaddy introduced in 2008.

There was a product called the BackSwing from 2004 to 2007 and the FullSwing from 2004 to 2008 (the SwingDaddy then replaced the FullSwing). For the BackSwing or FullSwing you would need # Y8780022.

You are right, I pulled both the part #Y8890185 and the #Y8780022 from our warehouse and the only difference is the additional flat washer that is in the #Y8890185.

The bolt that comes with the #Y8890185 is the same as the #Y8890176. The bolt is a 1/2"-13 bolt that is 4.28" long with 2.5" of threads.
