It sounds like you may already have the factory towing package wiring present, so to install a 7 way connector on your 2013 Ford F-150 XL you can use the Curt # C55774, which will plug into the same port your 4 way is plugged into. I do recommend checking to make sure that you've got a round, US Car connector port there that your 4 way is plugged into to determine if this will be compatible.
If you don't have that connector it means that your 4 way was added after purchase. If that's the case, you'll want to use the # ETBC7, which will utilize your existing 4 way and then require running wires to the battery and brake controller wiring in the cab. There is a detailed video on this linked to this answer that you may want to check out.
For a brake controller and wiring I recommend using the Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160 and adapter # 22292 which will give you an easy plug and play installation. The Primus IQ offers proportional braking for your trailer, so it will engage your trailer's brakes in proportion to the braking pressure applied in your truck. This provides a much better towing experience than using a time delayed controller, where there is a delay from the time your truck brakes to the time the trailer's brakes are engaged.
As I mentioned, I've linked some installation videos of these parts that I recommend having a look at if you're going to be completing the install yourself.
