Question:

Im setting my truck up with a brake controller and 7 way plug to tow a travel trailer. I see two different harnesses that seem to work for my 2013 f150 supercrew 3.7 no tow package, does have a 4 pin plug back there Hopikins 37185 and a universal kit ETBC7. The universal kit seems far more involved to install. I have a harness behind the dash that the brake controller plugs into, so it seems there must also be wires run to the rear. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks

In order to install a brake controller on a 2013 Ford F-150 that already has a 4 flat you need to use the Universal In adapter # 37185 that you referred to. You'll need to plug in the brake controller with a separate harness such as # 22292 for Tekonsha controllers like the Prodigy P3 # 90195.
