Good morning! I recently purchased a 2 etrailer receiver hitch for our 2019 Ford T150 Transit Cargo Van. The install was easy and quick. The product is good. My question is on the set back. The hitch sets back 4 from the edge of the bumper. I loose a trey on my bike rack do to the set back. The set back puts the bike close to the van doors and the handle bars rub on the doors. I realize I can add a hitch extension yet this makes two more joints which adds to movement. Is there a hitch for our Van that would not have a set back from the bumper? Thanks for your time. So I was unable to find your order based on your email or name, so I'm not sure which hitch you bought from us, but what I can tell you is that based on installations we've done, the trailer hitch for your 2019 Ford Transit T150 with the best bumper clearance is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75912.

All of the hitches for your van are going to be recessed under the bumper a bit, but the Draw-Tite will be less than others. If that's what you have and are still running into problems with the handlebars of your bike hitting the doors then the best option is a hitch extender, the 8" long Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches # RKY10011.
