Question:
Hello, I have a customer who purchased part #FCE48TASL-05 which is the Furrion Vision S 5inch model and he has a Mercedes Sprinter van. He bought the camera from a separate dealer who has since shut down. He called Furrion directly because they did not have the correct adapter at the time. He was told Furrion does make them now and would like a power adapter to fit for her Sprinter van. Is this the correct part he is needing.

If you are installing the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System part # FCE48TASL-05 on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter then you can use the 12 volt cigarette lighter plug to power the monitor but in order to power the cameras you'll need to run a separate 12 volt power wire from the battery to the cameras with a cutoff switch. The reason for this is because the running light circuit on the vehicle is not sufficient to power the cameras.
If you are installing the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System on a trailer pulled by a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter then the adapter you need is the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter Cable for Furrion RV Observation Camera part # FR87PR which again addresses the issue with the running light circuit.
Another more permanent solution would be to splice the PWM Filter # VGR64VR in behind the camera to provide a steady current for proper operation.
