This adapter connects your tow vehicle's 7-way trailer connector and the trailer wiring to provide the additional power required for your Furrion Vision S RV observation camera system to function properly. Compatible with other RV camera systems.Easy to use. I keep it in my camper till ready to use. Allows my Furrion cameras to work with my GMC(daylight running lights turned off). Stays plugged in and no connection issues.
When I called the person I talked to on this product was great. When it came in I had to try it right away, And sure enough it works great.i have a 2020 ram 3500 long box and wasn't even hooked up to my 37 foot 5th wheel and it worked. Just plugged the adapter in

Have not had a chance to use it this year.my camper has been in the rv shop since March.suppose to get it back next month.it worked great last year
Does what it’s supposed to. No more PWM voltage fluctuations to trailer running light circuit. Keeps rear camera on line without drop outs. Only complaint is that the sheathing on both both ends of the power adapter are split at the 7 pin male & female connectors. This adapter is connected inside the truck bed and covered 90% of the time, not exposed to UV. The adapter has never been stressed by over bending. The adapter may be too short, or the sheathing less flexible than it should be for the short length.
The adapter that we ordered for our Furrion camera came two days earlier than expected. We hooked up the item and it worked perfectly, our camera paired immediately to our truck. I highly recommend.Etrailer.com in this product. Thank you so much!

The product continues to work perfectly with our Furrion Camera. The adapter is definitely made from the highest quality.
The adapter to connect the trailer light has worked great for these newer trucks. I'm pleased with this as my furrion camera has not lost connection. Highly recommend this adapter if your are using the furrion camera.
This product does not work. It was a waste of money. Was finally able to try it out this past weekend. Plugged it in and found that my trailer lights would not work or the electric brakes. I am back to square one with basically an inoperable Furrion RV observation camera that does not work on 2024 Silverado 2500 pickup. Would not recommend this product or the Furrion Camera system for any new Chevy products.
Recently switched from Ford to a Chevy tow vehicle. Having the same issue with my rear view camper cam. I use a Haloview camera system instead of the Furion but figured the problem was the same. The plug is a good quality and fit. Fixed my problems no issues.
Fusion failed to warn us of the computer systems in the newer trucks having a puls system meaning the cameras I put on my new jayco travel trailer do not get the voltage needed. No fault of yours but furious failed me what I now have to run wires switches and relays to fix this system that was designed for fusion cameras
Bought a new Chevy 2500. My existing camper Furrion cameras would not work properly when I hooked the new truck up to the camper (the cameras would cycle on & off).
Purchased the Furrion FR87PR truck to camper power adapter from etrailer.com, and...
problem solved!
This short cable immediately fixed the problem we had. On its own, our 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500 does not supply enough current to power all 4 of our Furrion cameras. We've been running with only one (which is installed in the 5th wheels mfg. supplied Furrion mount) of the 4 cameras while driving. This cable does some rewiring to the circuit which allows all 4 to run as intended.
The cable cable unit is well build with good components, about 9" long and simply plugs in between our 7 pin trailer cord and the trucks 7 pin socket. the connetion is very firm and should not come out during use.
The female end is capped and has a small flange which would allow someone to permanently into a body panel, which I did not do.
Super simple and worth the price.
It worked great for a while, and then if I left it plugged into the camper, the running lights would stay on and finally the power to the remote camera (the reason I bought it) failed. I think I got 4 or 5 trips out if it
We paid expedited shipping so we could install a camera while on a trip with our RV…only to find out it didn’t work with our 2020 GMC Sierra. By the time we got back from our trip it was too late to return. So here we are with a useless adapter.
This is a great product and allows the 5th wheel trailer camera to work with GMC/Chevy trucks.
This is the part I needed. Every time I connected my Furrion S backup camera, the fuse would blow after a few seconds. Apparently, my 2015 Silverado had a voltage regulation problem. This cured the issue. Recommend to anyone having similar issues.
George and Etrailer were extremely helpful in getting our Furrion camera and accessories to work properly. They diagnosed my problem with power through my hitch and the adapter solved my issue.
this accessary is a must for all Gm trucks. It does a wonderful job. Furrion should include it with the back up camera package
Just got done hooking up the fifth wehho with the power adapter and saw "no signal" on the monitor!
Any ideas?

I reached out to the manufacturer and we have a few question to ask to help troubeshoot with the adapter. The first question that they had was 1. Are your headlights in the manual position? 2. Do you have a small blue light on the bottom left of the camera lens? If there is no light then there is no power to the monitor. How much voltage do you have at the camera mount? For this you would need a voltage meter. 3. Has this always been an issue or is this new?
While picking up brand new travel trailer, we couldn't get the rear fusion camera to work. It looked like it had power, but camera would come up no signal. I did some research and found that Fusion has a connector that bypasses the electrical power shortage problem. I came to my one and only stop for trailer parts, ETRAILER. This was a simple remedy, it plugs into your 7 point truck harness, then you plug trailer into end of the adapter. This was 100% remedy for the problem. The camera works flawless again.... Quick shipping from ETRAILER got me up and running! Thanks!!!!
Tell us what you think??? Hmmmm I think that we shouldn't need an adapter to make our camera's work in the first place!!!!! But, this adapter works as advertised. As soon as I plugged it in, the cameras started working as long as my Fog Lights were on.
This product did not help the furrion S camera to hook up to the monitor in my 2022 GMC Sierra 2500HD truck.

That is a bummer as it typically does the trick. Can you tell me more about what the camera is doing?
This eliminated the GM issue. Plug and play. Work like charm

Work fantastic. Its definitely a must have especially when you have a long trailer. A simple fix for the GM factory Amp limitation issue
Correct fix for travel trailer connection to my 2022 GMC Sierra to make the camera work. Works well.
This works, however it doesn’t like to stay fully connected to my receptacle while driving. It’s unnerving when I know I have lost my trailer brakes along with lights. Now I bungee it in place for safety sake.
Does the job of making my rear camera o perate.
Bought this for my 2022 Chevy 2500. It was a new truck that I’d only towed with a couple times when I purchased the adapter. Pulled with it for the last 10 months and doing an emergency stop on last trip I surmised that my trailer brakes were shot as I barely stopped in time. Had the trailer checked out and brakes were good. Tried it without the adapter and I had great brakes again. I always felt the trailer brakes were weak since purchasing this truck and assumed it was the truck. It was the adapter. A very dangerous purchase. Now I’m back to no camera, but at least I can stop. On a side note I tried the adapter once more and it’s totally inop now. No camera or brakes. Just lights.

I am so sorry to hear that. How frustrating! I reached out to the manufacturer and it looks like their thought is you may just have a faulty adapter. I sent you a email requesting some information for a warranty claim.

Great product. Clarity is still good from cameras to screen. Easy part to store and use when needed.
